Davood is currently serving as the Project Director of Coulter Translational Research Partnership program at Drexel University where he is responsible for all operational aspects of commercializing a portfolio of early stage medical device technologies, including coordination of diligence, selection through an investment panel, project management, and marketing. One third of the supported projects have resulted in quality license deals.

Davood is the CEO of FNIR Devices, a manufacturer of FNIRS-based functional brain imaging systems.  With more than 120 imagers sold internationally in 27 countries, FNIR Devices is considered to be the leader in this field.

He is also an investor and a director at UE, LifeSciences, a manufacturer of breast cancer screen devices. UE LifeSciences’ first product offering, NoTouch BreastScan, was recently cleared by FDA; their second offering, iBE, is a hand-held supersensitive electromechanical palpation device, which  is currently going through clinical development.

Previously, Davood served as CEO of Law Manager Inc for 26 years, where he grew this start-up from ground zero into the leading supplier of Legal Case Management software for corporate legal departments and the government. He orchestrated the sale of Law Manager in 2000.
